In the 19th century Bad Cannstatt established itself as a famous spa. Visitors came from all over Europe to enjoy the water. The soil beneath Stuttgart-Bad Cannstatt and Stuttgart-Berg holds gigantic treasure troves: 19 mineral sources (13 of which have been certified as healing spa sources by government). This makes Stuttgart Western Europe’s number one producer of mineral water.

Leuze Mineralbath

Generously appointed, elegant and modern, this swimmers’ paradise comprises pools, saunas and baths. It offers more than 1,700 sqm of water surface. Guests can enjoy a massage nozzles, bubble lounges, waterfalls and a counter stream pool, as well as a 2,500 sqm landscape as well as massage treatments, tanning, beds, sport facilities and playgrounds. The “Children’s World” boasts 700 sqm of floor space.

MineralBath Cannstatt

Its attractive architecture makes the pool facility a sight for sore eyes. With its light flooded glass parabola roof, which covers the indoor pool and its fountains and antiquity inspired statues, it is one of Stuttgarts’s most modern sports facilities. It boasts two large mineral pools fed with warm thermal sole with warm thermal sole, one pool with naturally cool, highly carbonated healing spring water. The 36 degrees Celsius warm thermal sole is also providing the bubbles in the whirlpools and in the sitting and lounging pools. This facility also features a great variety of water attractions as well as an expansive 1,200 sqm sauna landscape and a cafeteria. Also available on the premises: Massage therapy and other treatments.

Mineral-Bath Berg

Don’t expect to find whirlpools at the Mineral—Bad berg. To date, the “Berg”, as locals refer to it, has made a conscious choice not to turn itself into an adventure pool facility. Those who come here come to swim laps – and a lot of them. They also enjoy the expansive park, where they can find some peace and quiet under the old trees. Such quiet settings are now next to impossible to find at other public pools.
