Those looking for rest and relaxation can find a moment of tranquility in one of the three mineral pools in Stuttgart (LEUZE Mineralbad, Mineralbad Cannstatt, Mineralbad Berg) and in numerous other pools in the region.
Swimming in heavily carbonated, chlorine-free mineral water has a tradition in Stuttgart dating back more than 150 years. In the 19th century, today’s Bad Cannstatt district was a health resort that was well known and popular throughout Europe. Beneath Stuttgart-Bad Cannstadt and Stuttgart-Berg there are 19 mineral springs (of which 13 are officially recognized), which provide 22 million liters of water daily. This makes Stuttgart the richest place in mineral water in Western Europe.
